The Name

Routas is the site of the famous Trou de l'Infernet, the Hellhole, a geological formation 75 metres

deep by 400 metres wide. The devil is reputed to live here. We haven't see him. But we have seen

scores of scientists, some looking for traces of early man, others for underground caverns.

The Wine

A vibrant blend of Grenache, Cabernet, and Syrah. Deep ruby in colour with aromas of ripe plums, spice, Provençal herbs and subtle raspberry flavours. Perfect with meats, pasta and soft, complex cheeses.
